The virtual reality film, in development since 2020, is becoming a key measure within location marketing. It was continued modularly in 2021 and terminated for the time being. The development and opportunities of this modular system were not foreseeable at the beginning of the project.
The possibilities of 360-degree presentations are indispensable for all digital presentations and offer attractive acquisition supplements in times of reduced presence. For the modular concept of the Cottbus VR film, scenes of the municipal companies were included as well as the
integration of structural change topics: Medicine Campus, Hydrogen, Railway Plant focused. Several shooting dates with drone shots of economically relevant areas in Cottbus and statements of local entrepreneurs and founders were implemented. These are to be used across the network
for the purpose of marketing Cottbus as a business location. The first presentation took place on October 15, 2021, at the opening of the start-up center Startblock B2.
We got to know Walter Schönenbröcher as an impulse generator, visionary, and implementer full of commitment and willingness to perform, with patience and diligence, as well as always a winning nature. From the idea to the completion of the VR film over a period of more than 12 months in the difficult pandemic times, we always had the utmost confidence in the profession of Whitestag. We were not disappointed, because the visionary product completely convinces the city of Cottbus. We will gladly work with Whitestag and Walter Schönenbröcher again at any time.
